About Charity Christian Academy

Charity Christian Academy is a private, non-accredited school located in rural Hutchinson, Kansas, that is dedicated to meeting the educational needs of children and young adults through preparation for CLEP Testing.

The educational philosophy of Charity Christian Academy is that every child is capable of learning, and only God can determine the level of achievement for each individual.  In addition, we believe that each person is uniquely created by God with individual strengths.  By discovering an individual's learning style, we can achieve academic success by using his or her particular learning strengths.

Distance Education

Through our Distance Education program, parents homeschool their children; and we keep their official records, issue report cards (if desired), issue diplomas for eighth grade and high school, and prepare transcripts for college entrance.

We offer schooling for nursery and preschool, grade school, and traditional high school, and non-traditional high school.  Each of these are designed for specific needs.  The non-traditional high school is designed for both youth and adults who have not attended school for at least six months and would like to earn a high school diploma.

Day School

We also offer local education for girls. Girls in kindergarten through twelfth grade are welcome to attend Charity Christian Academy’s campus-based school.

Special Needs

Children who have special needs are a very welcome and special part of Charity Christian Academy. We strive to serve all children and currently have students who have the following needs: ADD, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, Bipolar, Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, fragile health, gifted, Learning Disabled, PDD, visual impairments, and more. (Children with behavior issues are eligible only for the distance education program). Because every student is individualized into curriculum that fits their own needs, many children are able to graduate without special education status on their record. Charity Christian Academy strives to be a safe haven for those who have been injured at the hands of others.

NOTE:
According to legal counsel, Charity Christian Academy will not be accepting students from Arizona, California, Germany, New York, and Tennesee.
