Trad High School Vocational General College Prep Honors Apprentice Program Majors

Synopsis

  • Our High School Philosophy: Charity Christian Academy considers high school to cover grades nine through twelve.  Although traditionally the high school years come during the mid-to-upper teen years, we believe that this should be free vary with individual.  We consider this time very important and realize the high school years directly influence the early adulthood.  We believe that high school is a time of searching for one's true interests and abilities, and that once those are established, they should be followed by gentle guidance towards possible career goals.

Description

High school tends to be an exciting time in the adolescence's life--a time of academically pushing beyond the basics while considering the many exciting options available after high school. Charity Christian Academy takes a firm stance in requiring that students meet the minimum State of Kansas requirements in order to receive a vocational diploma (24 credits), while those wishing to receive a general diploma (24 credits), college prep diploma (25 credits), or a Honors Diploma (26 credits) have stricter guidelines to meet.

Distance Education students use the same high quality Christian curriculum as the day school students.

The High School Day School is for girls only and uses primarily Charlotte Mason style curriculum. The school week is from Tuesday through Friday. All girls attending the day school must wear the school uniform to school.

In addition to a traditional high school program, we also have developed apprentice programs and several high school majors that will help pave the way to early career development.

Students may earn dual-credit by enrolling at a college.

All new students are required to do diagnostic placement testing before they will receive curriculum. Students must be enrolled for a minimum of one full semester in order to graduate.
