Complete Illustrated Children’s Bible
This is a beautiful Children’s Bible and caught the eye of the kids here in the office while I was looking it over. Over 300 stories are highlighted from Old Testament to the New Testament. Each story is titled and indicates the location in the Bible where it is found. The two-page illustrations are bright and great for visual learners. This makes for a perfect read aloud with parents or for kids to look through by themselves. Hardcover and compact in size, with 607 pages.
My Story 2 – My Country My World
Level Two continues a journey around the world, introducing state and federal governments, basic economics, and more—through four global quests.
It lays a foundation for understanding God’s love and world, beginning with the family in Genesis—Eden, Noah’s family, the Tower of Babel, and beyond. Students map their homes and neighborhoods to better grasp the world map. They explore topics like toys and inventions through history, words from around the world, and homes of all kinds—while journaling their own story.
Language Lessons for a Living Education 2
At Level 2, students are introduced to punctuation, grammar, and writing. They will learn about nouns, compound words, subjects/predicates, possessive nouns, combining sentences, commas, interjections, action verbs, homophones, synonyms/antonyms, and specific verbs such as be, has, and see, as well as pronouns like this and that. Scripture memorization and story creation begins. This course does assume that you’ll add independent reading for your student. 476 pgs.
Pentime Transition Grade 2
Second grade starts in practicing manuscript with numbers, letters, words, and sentences. Shortly before midterm they start learning cursive, beginning with letters. moving on to words, and finally sentences.
